Ice-T says Dr. Dre is ‘doing good’ amid recovery from brain aneurysm


Ice-T says that his friend Dr. Dre is making progress amid his recovery from a brain aneurysm. One week after being hospitalised the music mogul is still in the intensive care.

Doctors treating Dre at Cedars-Siani Medical Center in Los Angeles are still not sure on what could have caused the brain damage and are planning on keeping him in ICU to conduct more tests and also monitor him in case he has another aneurysm and they can quickly treat it.

After his admission in Hospital Dre posted on his Instagram account that he was ‘Doing great’ and would be out of the hospital soon.

Posting on his Instagram account he said, “Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team.

“I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars, One Love!! (sic)”

While in hospital Dre made headlines after he agreed to pay his estranged wife, Nicole Young, $2million in temporary spousal support as they continue their divorce battle in court.

Dre had been paying her around $293 000 a month but Young has requested for more. Dre agreed to pay her a one-off payment of $2 million which will cover her from now until 14 April 2021. The former couple will then have their day in court after 14 April to negotiate any future support.
