Prolific actor Michael Madsen, best known for films like Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs, Die Another Day and Sin City, has passed away at the age of 67.
Madsen whose career spanned more than 40 years and was a staple of many Quentin Tarantino classics was found unresponsive in his Malibu home on Thursday, July 3 and pronounced dead by emergency services.
The Los Angeles sheriff issued a statement that the actor died of natural causes, specifically cardiac arrest, with no foul play suspected.

His managers Susan Ferris and Ron Smith, and publicist Liz Rodriguez said;
“In the last two years Michael Madsen has been doing some incredible work with independent film including upcoming feature films ‘Resurrection Road,’ ‘Concessions’ and ‘Cookbook for Southern Housewives,’ and was really looking forward to this next chapter in his life.”
“Michael was also preparing to release a new book called ‘Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems,’ currently being edited.”
“Michael Madsen was one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors, who will be missed by many.”
Madsen who amassed more than 70 film and TV credits made his breakthrough in Tarantino’s directorial debut, Reservoir Dogs, in which he starred as the sadistic criminal Mr. Blonde, who tortured a policeman by slicing off his ear.
