Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been released from solitary confinement after being disciplined over an alleged fight with another inmate at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
Sources with direct knowledge of the situation told TMZ that the music mogul is now out of the Special Housing Unit, commonly known as “the hole,” where he was placed following the altercation.
The incident reportedly began after another prisoner allegedly made a disrespectful remark towards Diddy.
Sources previously claimed the confrontation quickly became physical, with the two inmates pushing each other and exchanging punches before prison staff intervened and broke up the fight.
Diddy reportedly “held his own” during the altercation, but correctional officials subsequently removed him from the general prison population and placed him in solitary confinement.
It remains unclear how long Diddy spent in segregation or whether prison officials intend to impose any further punishment over the alleged incident.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons has not provided details about the confrontation.
The agency previously said it does not disclose internal information or discuss disciplinary matters involving individual prisoners because of privacy, safety and security concerns.
Diddy remains incarcerated at the federal correctional institution following his criminal case.
His current release date is listed as February 20, 2028.
The latest development comes after the alleged brawl generated fresh attention around Diddy’s life behind bars, with questions emerging about what restrictions he would face while being held in disciplinary segregation.
For now, however, the hip-hop mogul is reportedly out of solitary as he continues serving his federal prison sentence.
