Prince Harry and Meghan will give their first interview since stepping back from royal duties when they talk to chat show host Oprah Winfrey next month.
Its expected this could be an explosive and revealing interview about Meghan and Harry’s departure from the Royal Family in what US television executives have called an “Oprah Winfrey Special”.
Yesterday Meghan and Harry announced that they are expecting their second child.
The new baby will be a younger sibling to Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, who will be turning 2-years this May and will be the Queen’s tenth great-grandchild and also the first to be born abroad.
The news of their pregnancy comes barely three months after the 39-year-old revealed that she had suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage last summer and she celebrated her victory in a privacy case against Associated Newspapers Limited.
It is not certainly known how many months the pregnancy is but some reports say it’s probably five months and she could deliver in early summer. The baby will be eighth in line to the throne.
The news was reported on Valentine’s Day with a black and white photograph of the couple. The pictures show them lying under a tree with the baby bump clearly visible.
Nigerian-born British photographer who took the picture explained the meaning behind the whole concept of the picture saying, “with the tree of life behind them and the garden representing fertility, life and moving forward, they didn’t need any direction, because they are, and always have been waltzing through life together as absolute soul mates.
“When you see people who have the connection that they have, it’s like reading the pages of a book.
“To be asked to help share this absolute joy after such and unimaginable loss and heartache is a marker of true friendship.
“Meg reminded me that had I not introduced her to a mutual friend then she wouldn’t have met Harry.”
The couple made headlines in March 2020 when they quit their roles as senior royals in a quest for personal and financial freedom and now live in California
