Rap superstar Snoop Dogg has seemingly got over his beef with former American President Donald Trump, describing the controversial business mogul and politician as a man who had only done great things for him.
Snoop was critical of Trump in the past, even going as far as holding a gun to a fake Trumpโs head in a 2017 music video.
In an interview with the Sunday Times, The DoggFather said he now had a lot of respect for Trump.
“Donald Trump? He ainโt done nothing wrong to me,” Snoop told the publication. “He has done only great things for meโ
Snoop gave credit to Trump for the release of Michael โHarry-Oโ Harris, the Death Row co-founder who had served 30 years for attempted murder and drug charges.
โHe pardoned Michael Harris. So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump,โย Snoopย continued.
The interview marked a change in tune for Snoop, who in 2020, tore into the presidential hopeful, accusing him of being a racist.
“So, me and my homeboys sittinโ up here talkinโ about all the people that President Trump disrespected,” Snoop said.
“Women, gays, transgenders, Blacks, Mexicans, Asians, and now veterans. Hmmm. Seems like heโs disrespecting every color in the world and everything that ainโt what he is, which is a racist.”
Snoop continued, “With that being said, the people that voted for him got exactly what they wanted. They gave them what he said he was gonโ do. So, the next muthaf**ka, you better tell us what we gonโ get for your vote. You better show up and deliver, period.”
