Brendan Paul, the man named in a lawsuit as the one who procured and distributed drugs for hip-hop mogul P Diddy, has reportedly accepted a plea deal after he was busted on drug and marijuana possession charges last month.

Before his arrest, Diddy’s former producer Lil Rod claimed that he witnessed Paul “acquire and distribute” drugs to Combs and his associates in a highly publicised lawsuit.

“Members of the enterprise and their associates procured, transported and distributed ecstasy, cocaine, GHB, ketamine, marijuana, mushrooms, and tuci by packing these substances in their carry-on luggage and going through TSA,” the lawsuit claims.

Paul was arrested in Florida last month in an operation by police working alongside Homeland Security agents.

It’s unclear if Paul’s arrest is connected to the wider investigation into Combs or where he was headed at the airport. Combs was confirmed to be in Florida at the time of the raid, with his phones seized his phones before he was scheduled to leave for a trip to the Caribbean.

Paul’s attorney, Brian Bieber, confirmed that he indeed taken a plea deal.

“Brendan accepted the prosecutor’s offer to permit his entry into the diversion program which, after completion, the case against him will be dismissed in its entirety,” Bieber said.

The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office confirmed that they offered the deal to Paul, who accepted it without issue. They also confirmed that the deal is a standard one for non-violent first-time offenders.
