Jennifer Lopez might be headed for her fourth divorce, with rumours that the actress and her celebrity husband Ben Affleck are ready to call it quits as they are not even living together anymore.
Recent speculation has been that there might be trouble in paradise for the couple, as they are rarely seen in public together anymore.
The actor did not attend the Met Gala with his wife on May 6, despite her important position as co-chair of the event.
The couple rekindled their relationship in 2021 nearly 17 years after their first breakup. They got married in 2022 in Las Vegas.
According to an insider who spoke to In Touch, Affleck has reportedly moved out of the couple’s matrimonial home.
“The writing is on the wall – it’s over,” the insider said. “They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame!”
According to the insider, the main problem in the relationship was that Lopez felt that she could not control the Batman actor.
“He’s focusing on his work and his kids now,” the insider added.
“Ben already moved out and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”
Lopez’s decision to release her Amazon Prime documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, in February, which chronicled her love story with Ben, seemingly put a strain on the pair’s marriage.
The candid show was the third part of her very public $20 million tribute to Ben, which also consisted of ‘his Is Me… Now: A Love Story, a semi-autobiographical ‘musical rom-com action sci-fi’ film and her single, this Is Me… Now.
