Nicole Young, the estranged wife of rap mogul Dr Dre is under investigation for embezzlement, as the pair’s high stakes divorce rages on.
Young reportedly withdrew $385,029 from a business account, according to a report by TMZ.
Dr Dre is not the one who filed the report, but instead Dre’s business partner, Larry Chatman, repeating allegations he made in a recent lawsuit against Young.
In September, Young’s lawyer Bryan Freedman dismissed the latest allegations as a mere smear campaign.
‘As people are well aware, banks do not give out money to people who are not authorized to receive it,’ Freedman told TMZ.
Young filed for divorce from the Beats Electronics founder in June, citing irreconcilable differences after 24 years of marriage.
The couple has two children, son Truice, 23, and daughter Truly, 19 while the Death Row founder has four other children from previous relationships.
