Kanye West told campaign staff to stop fornicating, prepares for 2024 bid if he loses

Must Try

Kanye West told campaign staffers to stop fornicating outside marriage and also vowed to contest again in 2024 should he lose in November, quoting his star sign as his inspiration.

According to the New York Times, some of the bizarre aims of West’s unlikely bid for the White House include a desire to bring back prayer in schools, give more government support to religious groups and has even asked his campaign staff to refrain from “fornicating” outside of marriage, according to people aiding his candidacy.

West has run a troubled and controversial campaign and given his late entrance he is not going to make the ballot in states including Florida, Texas and Michigan. He will however, be on the ballot in others like Colorado, Minnesota and Iowa.

Despite running a campaign based on Christian revivalism, West told the publication that he did not want to practices like abortion outright. This is despite the rapper’s insistence that abortion is intolerable on various occasions.

Kanye’s campaign kicked off on a controversial note in July, with the rapper saying he was campaigning on a pro-life ticket after his wife almost had an abortion while pregnant with his first child.

“You can’t do that,” he told The NY Times in a phone call. “I don’t want to ban or stop or point fingers at anything.” Instead, he said he supported “stipends for families that need support, creating orphanages that are really high-level desirable for people to go to, and the redesign of communities and cities in general to be supporting of families.”

West’s campaign has also come under scrutiny for is links to republican operatives, with critics pointing to this as evidence of the fact that he is a mere Trojan house meant to spoil things for Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

Mercury Public Affairs, a prominent bipartisan New York political consulting firm, played an organizing role, though the firm was dismissed last month and was reluctant to discuss its role in West’s campaign.

“Our role was limited to helping the campaign get started up, primarily by helping to recruit a ballot access team and launch that effort,” said Michael McKeon, a partner at Mercury.

“For a short time, we served as a liaison between the campaign and the team until they established independent relationships. That happened weeks ago, ending our involvement.”

Should he fall short in November, West reportedly said he would contest against because he is a Gemini.
