Fashion icon and rapper Kanye West probably has the most radical idea to solve the homelessness crisis in Los Angeles… he wants to have homeless people model his clothes for his new collection.

Kanye who legally changed his name to Ye is working with streetwear brand Skid Row Fashion Week on a new collaboration and fashion show aimed at helping the homeless.

Ye met with David Sabastian, the founder of Skid Row Fashion Week who told TMZ that they met earlier this month when Ye was recording ‘Donda 2’. During the meeting, the two decided to create a Yeezy X Skid Row Fashion Week clothing collaboration.

He added that his company donates a portion of all sales to help those living on Skid Row, and the factory that makes the clothes employs the homeless.

Yeezy will use 100% of the profits to help the homeless on Skid Row.

The model line is set to drop on 22 February. David and Kanye have revealed their plans to hire people from the Skid Row Fashion Week factory to model the clothes.
