Chris Brown’s former partner Diamond Brown is reportedly asking a court to award her approximately $45,000 a month in support for their four-year-old daughter, Lovely Symphani Brown.
Diamond submitted a proposed monthly budget covering housing, childcare, education, medical costs and extracurricular activities as part of the former couple’s continuing custody and child-support dispute.
A judge has not yet ruled on her request.
Diamond proposes $45,000 monthly budget
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Diamond proposes approximately $23,000 a month for rent and other household expenses, along with roughly $20,000 for costs directly connected to Lovely.
The proposed childcare expenses reportedly include $3,500 for childcare, $2,000 for college savings, $2,000 for gifts and $1,500 for art and sports lessons.
Diamond also listed approximately $500 a month for Lovely’s clothing and $350 for haircuts.
Her proposed household budget reportedly includes $15,000 for rent and $2,250 for food.
The figures represent the lifestyle Diamond wants the court to consider when calculating support rather than her current spending. In another section of her filing, she reportedly listed existing monthly expenses of approximately $8,400.
Diamond wants housing upgrade
Diamond says Chris currently pays the rent on the four-bedroom, three-bathroom Los Angeles-area home she shares with Lovely.
She described the property as modest and argued that she and their daughter should move into a home costing approximately $15,000 a month.
Diamond also acknowledged that the singer pays her utilities, bought her a Tesla and voluntarily provides approximately $7,000 a month in spending money.
She is now seeking a formal court order requiring Chris to provide a higher and more predictable level of support.
Diamond claims large income difference
Diamond describes herself as a social media influencer and aesthetician earning approximately $1,500 a month.
She estimates that Chris earns between $5.5 million and $7.3 million each month. That estimate has not been independently verified, and Chris has not publicly disclosed his earnings in connection with the case.
Diamond argues that the significant difference between their incomes should be considered when determining Lovely’s standard of living and financial support.
She has accused Chris of delaying the disclosure of financial records needed to calculate the appropriate amount.
Custody battle continues
Diamond filed a paternity and custody case in April, seeking primary legal and physical custody of Lovely while proposing visitation for Chris.
Chris opposed that request and asked the court to award them joint legal and physical custody.
Diamond has separately accused the singer of harassing her and threatening a boyfriend and the man’s twin brother. Chris denies those allegations and, through his legal team, requested specific details so the claims could be addressed.
The alleged threats have not been established in court, and Diamond is not currently seeking a domestic violence restraining order in the case.
Lovely was born on 7 January 2022 and has lived with Diamond since birth.
