Liu accompanied the pictures with a message declaring that he was choosing Hsu “forever and always,” while she shared images of her diamond engagement ring with the caption: “Us forever.”
The pair were first romantically linked in late 2022 and subsequently made their relationship public on social media.
Liu has previously credited Hsu with changing his life and described their relationship as one in which he feels loved, supported and encouraged.
Who is Allison Hsu?
Hsu is a digital marketing director at Interscope Records, where she has worked since beginning as an intern in 2017.
Her work has involved promoting major recording artists, including Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga.
Hsu was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in the music category in 2022 for her contribution to digital marketing campaigns in the entertainment industry.
She and Liu have frequently attended premieres, awards ceremonies and other industry events together since confirming their relationship.
Simu preparing for Avengers return
Liu rose to international fame after playing the title character in Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
He is expected to reprise the role in Avengers: Doomsday, which brings together a large cast of Marvel superheroes.
The Canadian actor is also known for appearing in the television comedy Kim’s Convenience and playing one of the Kens in the blockbuster Barbie movie.
TMZ said it contacted Liu’s representative for confirmation of the wedding but had not received a response.
The reported ceremony marks a return to France for the couple after their Paris engagement in 2025.
