Streamer BenDaDonnn was arrested in Texas after a chaotic confrontation in which a police officer used a Taser before taking him into custody.
The online personality, whose real name is Benius Beard, was booked into the Brazos County Jail on Sunday on a charge of evading arrest or detention.
Video captures chaotic arrest
Footage circulating online shows several people gathered around officers during a tense encounter. An officer can be seen deploying a Taser against BenDaDonnn before placing him in handcuffs.
The video does not show everything that happened before officers attempted to detain the streamer.

College Station Police Department officials said the confrontation began while officers were trying to clear people from a roadway outside a bar.
According to police, members of the group repeatedly refused to comply with commands to leave the road.
Police allege streamer tried to get away
Officers then attempted to detain BenDaDonnn, but a man who reportedly identified himself as the streamer’s security guard allegedly struck an officer’s hands away.
Police claim BenDaDonnn subsequently tried to get away from the officer.
The officer deployed a Taser, described by the department as a less-lethal weapon, in an effort to stop him and gain compliance.
BenDaDonnn was then taken into custody and charged with evading arrest or detention. The charge remains an allegation and has not been proven in court.
Second man also arrested
Police identified the other man involved in the confrontation as Kenny Carter.
As the officer attempted to arrest BenDaDonnn, Carter allegedly pushed the officer, according to the department’s account.
Carter was also taken into custody and charged with interference with public duties.
Authorities described Carter as someone who claimed to be working as BenDaDonnn’s security guard. His precise professional relationship with the streamer has not been independently confirmed.
No court outcome has been announced for either man.
BenDaDonnn is a streamer and social media personality with a large following across platforms including Instagram and Twitch. Neither he nor a representative had publicly issued a detailed response to the police allegations at the time of publication.
