The Roc-A-Fella co-founder previewed a new song aimed at his longtime rivals, but fans and Cam'ron were quick to mock the effort.

Dame Dash has escalated his long-running feud with Jay-Z and Cam’ron by previewing a diss track targeting both hip-hop stars — but the response has not gone the way he may have hoped.

The former Roc-A-Fella Records executive shared a snippet of a new song on Instagram on Monday, taking aim at his longtime rivals as tensions between the trio continue to simmer.

The track, titled Cheap Teeth, features Dame’s artist Nicky Licky and appears to be a direct response to recent jabs from both Jay-Z and Cam’ron.

For months, Cam’ron has repeatedly mocked Dash on social media and during episodes of his popular sports talk show It Is What It Is. Meanwhile, Jay-Z also appeared to take a swipe at his former business partner during a recent performance at the Roots Picnic.

With criticism coming from multiple directions, Dash seemingly decided to strike back through music.

However, the preview was met with ridicule from fans online, many of whom questioned the quality of the track and the decision to release it.

Cam’ron wasted no time joining the pile-on.

The Harlem rapper, who reportedly still has access to Dash’s Instagram posts, jumped into the comments section with a brutal response.

“All jokes aside, I really have second hand embarrassment,” Cam’ron wrote.

He then continued the mockery by joking that Dash’s behaviour should be studied.

“This is sad, im sorry everyone that he turned out like this. We’re gonna do a case study to see what happened to him. This might be a ‘Get Out’ situation.”

The comment quickly drew attention from fans, many of whom found Cam’ron’s reaction funnier than the diss track itself.

The latest exchange adds another chapter to the increasingly bitter fallout between Dash and two of the biggest figures associated with Roc-A-Fella’s golden era.

Dash and Jay-Z famously helped build the influential label together in the 1990s before their business relationship collapsed. Cam’ron, who later became one of Roc-A-Fella’s biggest stars, has also had a strained relationship with Dash in recent years.

Whether Cheap Teeth will ever receive an official release remains unclear, but its early reception suggests Dash may have started a battle that social media believes he is losing.

For now, the diss track has generated plenty of attention — just not the kind Dash was probably looking for.
