Controversial hip-hop mogul Kanye West reportedly punched the wrong twin, as he allegedly assaulted the brother of the man who reportedly grabbed at his wife Bianca Censori, during an altercation last week.
West reportedly assaulted one of Mark and Jonnie Houston, a pair who own L.A. hotspots such as No Vacancy, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s, Black Rabbit Rose and Break Room 86.
Last week, it was revealed that Kanye was facing a battery charge after he allegedly hit a man who the Los Angeles Police Department said in a report first ‘pushed or grabbed’ his wife.
It has since emerged that the twin that was reportedly assaulted by Kanye was not the one that allegedly assaulted his wife.
Sources claim that a man bumped into Censori in the Chateau Marmont lobby, which was said to be quite busy at that time.
The incident with Censori unfolded quickly and the man went on his way, as he went to mingle with friends on another table.
Shortly thereafter, West came up to the table to confront the man and punched the man in the face. According to TMZ, West might have confused one twin for another during the scuffle.
The rapper’s team have subsequently released a statement, saying that the encounter with Censori was more unsavory than was being reported.
“Grabbed’ is grossly inadequate as a description of what happened. Bianca was physically assaulted.
“The assailant didn’t merely collide into her. He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses. She was battered and sexually assaulted.”
