DMX’s manager says rapper’s on life support in coma, clarifies ‘inaccurate information’

Rapper DMX remains on life support and is still in a coma since his admission into a New York hospital last Friday, his manager has confirmed.

The rapper has had his critical day in hospital as he is going through extreme brain function tests that could determine the outcome of his condition.

His manager, Steve Rifkind has confirmed these developments.

Rifkind says doctors are set to perform a battery of tests to determine the level of brain function. His brain was deprived of oxygen for nearly 30 minutes and he had ‘little activity.’

His manager said results from these tests will also determine decisions his family will have to make.

Meanwhile DMX’s fans across the globe are praying for him. A prayer vigil was held on Monday at the hospital where the rapper lays in ICU.

His fiancé, mom and kids have been spotted visiting him every day at the hospital.

Rifkind also cleared the air on a lot of information speculating about DMX’s condition. He said, “DMX is currently on life support and in a coma.

“There are multiple people with inaccurate information about his wellbeing and it is not helpful and productive. He will undergo further test on his brain function and his family will determine what’s best from there. We appreciate your prayers and support.”
