Roc Nation Sports is reportedly arranging a trip to Spain for three-year-old Nevada Pierre, whose youth soccer game in Florida drew national attention after police responded to a dispute between his parents and league staff.
Loren LoRosa of The Breakfast Club reported that the agency plans to organise a December trip to give Nevada opportunities to develop his soccer skills. Roc Nation Sports has also posted a message of support for the youngster.
Details of the trip, including any clubs or academies involved, have not been announced.
Nevada’s parents, Martasia Griffin and Don Pierre, had previously discussed moving to Spain to support their son’s development.
Police response followed dispute at youth game
The attention began after a game in Winter Park, Florida, on October 24. Nevada was playing in a league with children as old as five. His parents objected when a league official decided to substitute him so other children could have more playing time.
The mother of 3-year-old Nevada Pierre, who was escorted by police from a youth soccer game, spoke with ABC News after she says her son was benched for being “too good.” She says Nevada has scored more than 40 goals in five games this season while playing against children two years older than him.

Body-camera footage later released by police showed the official telling officers that Nevada was advanced for his age but had also been pushing other players. The official said he called police after Nevada’s mother began livestreaming their conversation.
Griffin said she was standing up for her son, whom she believed was being unfairly singled out.
Police described the incident as a civil dispute. No one was arrested, and officers said the family left the park on their own. The league later refunded the family’s registration fee and said it had begun reviewing the incident.
Other support has emerged
Former United States international Eddie Johnson has offered to train Nevada at his soccer academy in Orlando. The family has also set up a fundraiser to help with his training and related costs.
Nevada’s father has said he wants people to focus on his son’s soccer ability rather than the police response. The reported Spain trip would give the family another opportunity to support the three-year-old’s development.
