T.I. rips Kanye West over Harriet Tubman remarks, ‘U Buggin!!’… ‘seek medical attention’

Rapper T.I has come out criticising fellow rapper Kanye West for his claims that the iconic Harriet Tubman did not free slaves but rather set them to work for other white people.

Kanye, who recently announced his bid to run for the White House in November, made the claim during his debut rally on Sunday.

“Well, Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves, she just had the slaves go work for other White people,” Kanye told his audience at the Exquis Event Center in North Charleston, S.C.

The rapper’s bizarre comments immediately received censure from many quarters, with T.I leading the charge.

“Nahhhh WE Can’t let you do that Ye’….,” T.I. began in his social media caption. “What WE NOT gon do is slander nor disrespect the legacy of our heroic Queen Harriet Tubman by telling falsities in an attempt to discredit the contributions she made to LIBERATE OUR PEOPLE‼️ Cuzz U BUGGIN‼️ THIS IS ABSOLUTELY TOO FAR‼️ I truly hope you either have a logical explanation for all this… or get the medical attention you so desperately need Bro. I say this with love and sincerity.”

Kanye’s behaviour has been increasingly erratic recently, with some calling his emotional breakdown during Sunday’s rally a manic episode.

His behaviour has left family and friends concerned about his mental health.

“Kanye’s behavior is very unpredictable,” a source told PEOPLE recently. “The episodes usually last for a few weeks and then things go back to normal”.
