Kai Cenat says he plans to sue fellow streamer Reggie after his former friend made a series of serious and unverified allegations involving teenage content creator RaKai.

Cenat addressed the accusations during a heated livestream, denying any wrongdoing and warning that the claims could damage his reputation, family and livelihood.

“This is so serious. This is what I want you to do, Reggie. Tomorrow, when you wake up, call the cops,” Cenat said.

“Call the cops and show them the evidence. Because guess what? I’m calling the cops. Yeah, I’m suing you, brother.”

The dispute escalated after Reggie, who is also known online as Lil Rodney Son, accused Cenat of grooming RaKai and encouraging inappropriate behaviour for online attention.

No evidence substantiating the allegations has been made public, and RaKai has separately denied claims that he was abused or inappropriately touched while growing up.

“I never got touched in any way growing up and not by my family or my friends,” RaKai said in a statement shared online.

“Please don’t believe everything you read on the internet.”

Cenat says he tried to help Reggie

Cenat also rejected suggestions that he had neglected Reggie when the streamer needed support.

During his broadcast, Cenat displayed what he said were private text messages showing that he had repeatedly checked on Reggie over several months.

One exchange allegedly included a birthday message, while another showed Cenat encouraging him to stop using drugs, concentrate on his future and consider the influence his behaviour could have on younger viewers.

Cenat presented the messages as evidence that he had attempted to support Reggie privately before their disagreement spilled onto social media.

He also claimed he continued reaching out despite Reggie allegedly insulting his sister.

Cenat said he initially had no intention of suing his former friend but changed his mind after the allegations became more serious.

“I still have sympathy for you because I know you’re not yourself, bro. But it’s gone too far,” Cenat said.

Reggie stands by allegations

Reggie has reportedly continued to stand by his accusations and has shared screenshots of private messages in which he claimed Cenat ignored a request for help.

The dispute emerged after Reggie announced that he was leaving the Clover Boys streaming group, saying he had felt excluded and unsupported.

As of 2 October, no lawsuit or criminal case arising from the allegations had been publicly confirmed. Cenat’s comments therefore represent an announced intention to pursue legal action rather than confirmation that a lawsuit has already been filed.
