Model and luxury property agent Jazzma Kendrick has accused rapper Rick Ross of physically assaulting her, publishing photographs which appear to show injuries to her lip.
The Rick Ross abuse allegations emerged in a series of Instagram Stories posted by Kendrick on Saturday night. She claimed the alleged assault prompted her to end their on-and-off relationship.
Ross had not publicly addressed Kendrick’s accusations at the time of publication. The allegations have not been independently verified, and no related police report or court case has been publicly identified.
Rick Ross abuse allegations shared on Instagram
Kendrick made the accusation while responding to a follower who complimented her appearance and said they understood what Ross saw in her.
“He saw a punching bag,” she replied.
She subsequently published a close-up photograph showing what appeared to be a swollen and injured lip.
“The day Rick busted my lip and the day I left,” Kendrick wrote alongside the image.
Her posts did not specify when or where the alleged incident occurred or provide further information about the circumstances surrounding the injury.
Kendrick continued by reflecting on her decision to leave the relationship and encouraged other women experiencing violence to protect themselves.
“I don’t know a lot of things, but I do know that a man that puts his hands on me is a man that never loved me and never will,” she wrote.
“It’s always good until it isn’t. If a man hits you one time, he will do it again. Don’t give him the opportunity. Value your life and leave.”
50 Cent condemns alleged domestic violence
Rapper 50 Cent, whose longstanding feud with Rick Ross has resulted in years of public insults and social media attacks, responded to Kendrick’s claims.
He initially mocked Ross by linking the allegations to the performance of his latest album before acknowledging the seriousness of the accusation.
“I’d laugh at him, but domestic violence is not a joke,” 50 Cent wrote.
His response was circulated widely across social media alongside screenshots of Kendrick’s posts.
Ross was reportedly in Las Vegas when the allegations surfaced and continued sharing footage from his activities without directly mentioning Kendrick or her claims.
Couple had rekindled their relationship
Ross and Kendrick began appearing publicly as a couple in early 2025 before separating later that year.
They subsequently appeared to reconcile and attended public events together, including the 2026 BET Awards in Los Angeles. They were also seen together during the summer.
Their relationship had attracted considerable attention online, partly because of Ross’s continuing feud with 50 Cent and speculation surrounding the couple’s limited public displays of affection.
Kendrick’s latest posts indicate that the relationship has ended again, although neither she nor Ross has issued a detailed statement confirming their current relationship status.
Ross remains entitled to respond to the accusations. Kendrick’s photographs and statements constitute allegations and do not, on their own, establish criminal wrongdoing.
