Pop Star Britney Spears had reactivated her Instagram account five days after deactivating it following her engagement to boyfriend Sam Asghari.
Last week Britney took a break from the photo sharing platform after revealing that her boyfriend had asked her to marry him. She has now revealed that she’s back on the site.
Posting two photos on her feed she said, “I couldn’t stay away from the gram too long so I’m back already!!! “Psss I took these in Palm Springs with clip in extensions.”
Last week the 39-year-old songstress posted on twitter that she had ditched her over 34 million Instagram followers to focus on her romance.
She tweeted, “Don’t worry folks… just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement [ring and winking face emojis]!!! I’ll be back soon.”
Britney and Sam have been dating since 2016 and they announced their engagement earlier this year.
Britney’s decision to deactivate her Instagram account was influenced by Sam who had revealed that he would not compromise his happiness to pursue fame and that he didn’t crave to be in the public eye.
“Fame is not a job. So I don’t want to take it too seriously. And I don’t think that’s ever going to change, to be honest,” he said.
