Sean “Diddy” Combs is strongly denying explosive new allegations made in a lawsuit filed by a man who claims he was sexually assaulted by the music mogul when he was a minor.
The lawsuit was recently filed by a John Doe plaintiff who alleges he was a child actor when the alleged incident occurred at a Hollywood party in 2007.
According to the complaint, the man claims Diddy engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct, including alleged unwanted physical contact and oral sex. The plaintiff, who is now an adult, is seeking unspecified damages.
The lawsuit also names several agents, alleging they had a duty to protect him at the time.
Diddy’s representatives have firmly rejected the claims.
Speaking to TMZ, Diddy spokesperson Juda Engelmayer described the allegations as false and vowed to fight the lawsuit.
“This is a lie and completely made up. Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone,” Engelmayer said.
He added that Diddy intends to aggressively defend himself against the accusations.
“These allegations will be disproven like all of the rest. He is going to pursue all avenues he can to defend himself and make sure those who start and spread lies are held responsible.”
A source close to Combs later clarified that the statement referred to potential legal action against individuals making what Diddy believes are false accusations.
The latest lawsuit adds to a growing list of legal challenges facing the Bad Boy Records founder, who has repeatedly denied allegations of sexual misconduct made against him.
No court has ruled on the claims contained in the new lawsuit, and the allegations remain unproven.
The case is expected to move through the legal system as both sides prepare to present their arguments.
