Kanye West celebrated his song, Carnival, hitting number one on the Billboard Hot 100 by aiming a few shots at his old foe, Drake, while Adidas, who he formerly partnered with, were also not spared the wrath from the outspoken rapper.
In an expletive-laden post, West took aim at his “enemies” while also give praise to his collaborators Kid Cudi, Ty Dolla $ign and Playboi Carti and Rich the Kid.
“Rich Ty Carti and the supporters that stood by us through everything. This number #1 is for you.
“It’s for the people who won’t be manipulated by the system and f.ck Adidas and everybody who works there or with them. Anyone who goes to school with anyone whose parents work at Adidas,” he wrote on Instagram.
Continuing his rant, Kanye claimed that Adidas had been stealing his creative ideas.
“Yo, Adidas, y’all tried to destroy me and now we got the No. 1 song in the world,” Ye says in the video below.
“When I was there, y’all was stealing my ideas and putting them in your company. Then, you dismantled my creative team. Then, you started making fake colorways. Then, you paid off my lawyers while I was with you.
“F*k Adidas and everybody who works there. F*k everybody at the fashion houses that sided with Gabby and Hailey Bieber,” he wrote in the lengthy missive.
Kanye’s latest issue with Drake stems from the Toronto rapper recruiting Lil Durk for his It’s All a Blur — Big as the What? Tour in the middle of the promotional campaign for his and Ty Dolla’s Vultures 1 album.
After calling out Adidas, the Daily Mail and other perceived enemies in a scathing Instagram post, Ye wrote: “And it’s f*ck Drake for taking Durk right at the beginning of the Vultures role [sic] out I’ll come back to yall if I think of more f*ck you’s.”
