Last Friday was a historic day for pop star Britney Spears as she was freed from conservatorship which controlled her life for 13 years.
Although the ‘toxic’ singer has been set free from the conservatorship which had her father Jamie Spears being the controller of all her assets and personal life the same Instagram videos which sparked controversy and had fans worried about her are continuing.
After the declaration of her newly found freedom. She called the day her ‘best day ever’ and would even ‘cry for the rest of the day’.
“Good God I love my fans so much it’s crazy!!! I think I’m gonna cry the rest of the day!!! Best day ever… praise the Lord… can I get an Amen??? ##FreeBritney,” she captioned the video.
Her day was celebrated by her legion of fans and her fellow industry fans. Lady Gaga tweeted expressing how she has always loved Britney’s career.
“I have loved @Britneyspears her whole career. I looked up to her, admired her strength- she empowered so many people and still does.
“I couldn’t be happier for you today. You never deserved what happened, Thank God 4 today you’re a superstar and a superhuman being,” tweeted Gaga.
After the end of her conservatorship, the 39-year-old was spotted driving in a Mercedes. She was also seen on her phone while enjoying the joy ride.
For the past 13 years both her phone and care were closely and restricted.
