Rap legend Dr Dre ‘doing great’ after hospitalization for brain aneurysm

American billionaire rapper and music producer Dr Dre says he might be ‘back home soon’ after receiving medical treatment at a Los Angeles hospital for brain aneurysm.

According to sources, the 55-year-old rapper suffered an aneurysm on Monday and was rushed to hospital where he was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Reports have it that the ‘I need a Doctor’ hitmaker is currently in a stable condition but it is not yet clear as to what caused the brain injury but is undergoing numerous tests.

Dre is however positive that he is doing well and will recover soon and go back home. Posting on his Instagram he said;

“Thanks to my family , friends and fans for their interests and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One love!!”

He is known for being one of the finest producers in America he has produced hits for great artistes like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Tupac and more. He has also won numerous awards including having six Grammys to his name.
