Dr Dre’s estranged wife, Nicole Young, has asked the rap mogul to pay her $2million per month in spousal support while settling her $5million legal expenses as the nasty divorce battle unfolds.
Dr Dre’s wife of 24 years, Nicole Young, filed for divorce from the Beats Electronics founder in June, citing irreconcilable differences.
The couple has two children, son Truice, 23, and daughter Truly, 19 while the Death Row founder has four other children from previous relationships.
In their filing asking the rapper to cough up $1,936,399 in monthly support, Young’s attorneys also claimed the NWA alum kicked Young out of their 43,000-square-foot Brentwood mansion in April in the middle of the night while in a drunken rage.
The filing also claimed that Young has been struggling to pay her bills for the first time since she married the rap mogul 24 years ago.
“Do not spend one more cent… You can’t be mean and disrespectful and spend my hard-earned money. F–k that!” the filing claims he texted her at one point.
Young wants a share of his reportedly $850million fortune, the majority of which was accumulated during their time together.
Dr Dre has instead said that they follow their prenuptial agreement, copies of which Young said Dr Dre had torn up two years into their marriage.
