Singer Frank Ocean’s brother, Ryan Breaux (18) has died in a car accident that reportedly ripped in half the vehicle he and a friend were travelling before it was engulfed in flames.
No other vehicle was involved in the collision which occurred just after 1:30 a.m. near Westlake Boulevard and Skelton Canyon Circle.
Investigations have so far revealed that Breaux and a friend were traveling south on Westlake Boulevard when the car appeared to leave the roadway and collide with a tree in the center median.
In a press release, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said: “The initial investigation revealed the vehicle was travelling south on Westlake Boulevard approaching Skelton Canyon Circle.
“The vehicle appeared to leave the roadway and collide with a tree in the center median.”
While Frank Ocean is yet to comment on the accident, fans on social media registered their sorrow at the tragic loss of his teenage brother.
“I don’t even know what to say,” wrote on follower on Instagram.
“Ryan u were one of the most incredible people I have ever known u gave me everything I could’ve ever wanted and I’m so grateful for all the memories we shared. I will love you always and forever”
