Grammy award winning producer Detail, who co-wrote Beyonce and Jay-Z’s Drunk in Love, has been arrested and is set to face 15 counts of sexual assault.
The producer, who it is alleged rapped five women and sexually assaulted another, is being held on $6.3 million bail for the crimes that occurred between 2010 and 2018.
If convicted Detail, real name Noel Fisher, could face a maximum of 225 years behind bars.
“Mr Fisher was just arrested some hours ago and I have not had an opportunity to speak to him or look at the charges. I am quite certain he will enter a not guilty plea and contest to the fullest all of these allegations,“ his attorney, Irwin Mark Bledstein said.
This is not the first time that Detail has been accused of crimes of a sexual nature. Singer Jessie Reyez spoke in 2018 of having been cornered by the producer, as he made inappropriate sexual advances.
“I didn’t know what to say or who to tell. I was scared. Fear is a real thing,” Reyez said at the time.
Singers Tinashe and Bebe Rexha have also spoken of uncomfortable recording sessions with Detail, while two former assistants have also drawn up their own separate lawsuits against him.
