Comedian Tracy Morgan, wife to divorce after 5 years of marriage

Comedian Tracy Morgan has requested for privacy as her gets divorced from his wife of five years, Megan Wollover.

The actor-comedian announced the end of their union in a statement on Wednesday.

“This is a challenging time for all involved, so I ask that you please respect our privacy,” Morgan said in the statement.

Tracy and Megan seem to have particularly bonded after his harrowing car accident in 2014. One man was killed in the crash that left Morgan and two friends seriously injured after a Wal-Mart truck slammed into the back of the $2 million Bugatti Veyron Morgan was riding in.

Wollover, Morgan said, was his inspiration for getting back to full health before they walked down the aisle.

“I don’t want to walk my wife down the aisle with a cane or in a wheelchair,” he said. “So I had to go hard with the therapy.”

Wollover has also spoke glowingly abound Morgan. “After almost losing Tracy last year, I am so grateful to finally be married to the love of my life,” Wollover told People in 2015.

Morgan and Wollover have a 7-year-old daughter, Maven Sonae.

Morgan also shares three adult sons – Tracy Morgan Jr., 28, Malcolm Morgan, 32, and Gitrid Morgan, 34 – from his previous marriage to Sabina Morgan.
