Sarah Jakes Roberts, the daughter of televangelist and Bishop TD Jakes will soon count the Kardashians among her closest neighbors, after her father bought her a $4 million house near the reality TV family’s Calabasas, California mansion.
The 10 000 square feet home comes with 9 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
Sarah, who is now in her 30s, has in recent years followed her father’s footsteps, with a podcast, multiple book deals, millions of social media followers and sold-out nationwide preaching tours.
A gifted speaker, Sarah has appeared on several TV talk shows and co-pastors the Potter’s House churches at One LA and One Denver with husband Touré Roberts.
Despite her success and seemingly bright future in evangelism, Sarah had a rough life early that saw her get pregnant at 14 and later on wind up in a disastrous marriage with former NFL linebacker Robert Henson.
Built in 2004, the mostly symmetrical Venetian villa is reported to have lushly landscaped front and rear yards, a large swimming pool and garaging for four automobiles
The $4 million home’s cavernous foyer is an obvious standout, with a double staircase, oversized chandelier and marble floors.
The chef’s kitchen’s also an architectural marvel, as it features all the requisite high-end appliances, plus a marble-topped island and built-in desk.
The lush kitchen opens to the family room and adjoining breakfast nook.
