Pop star Britney Spears had to self isolate for a fortnight, at the request of her ex-husband Kevin Federline, before she could spend time with her sons.
According to TMZ, Britney had just returned from a trip to Louisiana where she had gone to see her kin.
On her return however, Federline who has been home-schooling their children since stay at home orders were enacted, requested that she self isolate first before she was reunited with the boys.
The 38-year-old pop princess, shares sons Sean, 14, and Jayden, 13 with husband Federline. According to the TMZ report, Spears did not resist Federline’s demands.
Britney’s relationship with her two sons was recently brought into focus when her custody of the boys was slashed from 50 to 30 percent.
The new custody rights, which gave Kevin 70 per cent guardianship over the teenagers, was linked to Britney’s unusual conservator setup.
Britney’s dad Jamie has controversially been her conservator since 2008 following a string of mental breakdowns and two stints in a psychiatric ward.
He has legal control of her estate, finances and personal assets.
