Manchester City Football Club captain Kyle Walker is reportedly trying to avoid divorce from his wife Annie after two children out of wedlock were ‘discovered’.
The couple, who are heading for what some close to him regard as an unavoidable divorce, are reportedly expecting their fourth child.
Walker reportedly fathered two children with British influencer Lauryn Goodman.
However, according to MailOnline, sources close to the Man City skipper, claim he is doing all he can to fend off an expensive divorce.
“There is no question now that Annie is going to start asserting herself after what Kyle has done to her,” one friend reportedly said.
“She has put up with it all for a long time now but now appears that it is her turn to start calling the shots.
“It is impossible to see any way back now, the only way forward seems to be a divorce, a very expensive one. You wouldn’t be surprised to see her take him to the cleaners.
“”It is terrifying to think how much it could cost him but it’s a mess and it seems this is the only way forward now.”
The England star has already moved out of the £2.4 million family home in Cheshire and into a nearby home.
Last week, Walker issued an apology to his wife, while pleading for privacy.
“Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologise for the upset I’ve caused her. She’s been part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children.
“I would ask for privacy for all of our family, and especially our young children, whilst we work through these difficult times.”
