Jennifer Hough — the attempted rape victim of Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty — says fans of the couple are sending her hate filled messages ever since she gave her first on camera interview about her lawsuit against the couple.
According to her attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, Hough has been getting a flurry of disturbing messages including threats. “It all started immediately after Jennifer went on ‘The Real’ earlier this week,” Blackburn told TMZ.
Screenshots of some of the messages sent to her were also published by TMZ. These messages include insults and death wishes upon her. Hough’s personal contact information was also shared in a now deleted tweet, according to her attorney.
Jennifer is the victim who was almost raped by Petty in 1995 in New York. Petty is now a registered sex offender after the incident, he was recently charged for not registering as a sex offender in California and he took a plea deal.
Last month Nicki and Petty were sued by Hough for allegedly harassing and threatening her not to speak about the incident.
Regardless of the backlash Blackburn says Jennifer’s TV appearance has inspired other women to stand up and their own story while some have reached out pledging to support her.
