Shocking elevator footage of rapper Quavo (29), real name Quavius Keyate Marshall, dragging his then girlfriend Saweetie (27) to the ground before they broke up has emerged.
According to TMZ, the Migos rapper and My Type hitmaker had an altercation at a North Hollywood apartment complex where she was living at the time.
In the video Saweetie, real name Diamonte Quiava Valentin Harper, is seen swinging at Quavo.
Moments before dodging Saweetie’s blow, Quavo drops an orange case which she grabs before he charges at her and drags her into the elevator.
They continue scrambling over an orange hardware box before Quavo pulls his girl’s arm and wrenches her to the ground.
He then gets up and leaves her on the floor of the elevator without ascertaining if she is injured.
The Bad and Boujee rapper stood up and began to readjust his bag while refusing to offer a hand to Saweetie who was still on the ground.
Sources have revealed that the squabble happened sometime last year, months before their breakup earlier this month.
On March 19, Saweetie confirmed that she was now single and had split with Quavo while suggesting that she had been cheated on and told her fans she’s ‘endured too much betrayal.’
In response to the allegations, Quavo says he is ‘disappointed’ that his girlfriend would do that to him, a statement that provides no bridge for the couple’s floundering relationship.
“I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character.
“Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.
“I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom,” said Saweetie in her post.
Quavo replied on Twitter saying, “I had love for you and am disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best.”
Their breakup sparked rumours that Quavo sent a man to repossess the Bentley he had bought for Saweetie.
