50 cent has said fellow musician and rapper Jeremih is doing a little better in hospital after he was put on a ventilator in intensive Care Unit (ICU) after contracting Covid-19.
Posting on his Instagram page 50 Cent said, “Thank you for praying for my Boy @Jeremih.’
“He is responsive today, doing a little better,” wrote 50 Cent.
At first 50 Cent had asked his fans to keep Jeremih in their prayer. “Pray for my boy Jeremih, he’s not doing good this Covid sh*** is real,” wrote 50 Cent
Other American musicians have come out in numbers showing support to Jeremih, pleading for prayers from the public.
Chance the rapper who’s had collaborations with the hospitalized musician tweeted saying;
“Please if you can take a second to pray for my friend Jeremih. He is like a brother to me and he’s ill right now. I believe in the healing power of Jesus so if you can for me please please say a prayer over him.”
Big Sean also tweeted saying “Prayers up, praying for your strength Jeremih,”
Born Jeremy Phillip Felton, Jeremih is best known for his 2009 debut track Birthday Sex. According to reports he is currently on a ventilator in an ICU (intensive care unit) in his native city of Chicago.
50 Cent appeared on Jeremih’s 2010 track Down On Me, which reached number 30 in the UK singles chart.
To date the United States of America has recorded over 11 million positive cases of the virus, over 246 thousand have succumbed to the virus.
