Law enforcement tried to offer Jamarcus Glover, slain 26-year-old Breonna Taylor’s ex-boyfriend, a get-out-of-jail free card if he gave up Breonna Taylor, giving her up as part of a drug syndicate.

A convicted drug trafficker, Jamarcus Glover was arrested on new drug charges just last week.

According to TMZ, recently acquired documents showed that the Jefferson Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office offered the deal to Glover to testify against Glover, implicating her as part of a crew that sold drugs mainly from abandoned or vacant houses on Elliott Avenue in the Russell neighborhood.

Last Week, Glover told the Louisville Courier Journal that law enforcement was trying to portray him as a guilty party in the issue.

“The police are trying to make it out to be my fault and turning the whole community out here making it look like I brought this to Breonna’s door,” Glover told the outlet.

“There was nothing never there or anything ever there, and at the end of the day, they went about it the wrong way and lied on that search warrant and shot that girl out there,” he added.

Taylor was killed while sleeping after police broke down the door while executing a no-knock warrant during a drug investigation in her home. Her boyfriend, mistaking officers for intruders, fired his gun and when police returned fire, Taylor was hit at least eight times.

Attorney Sam Aguiar, who represents Taylor’s family in a wrongful death lawsuit, claims the plea offer shows “the lengths to which those within the police department and Commonwealth’s Attorney went to after Breonna Taylor’s killing to try and paint a picture of her which was vastly different than the woman she truly was.

“The fact that they would try to even represent that she was a co-defendant in a criminal case  more than a month after she died is absolutely disgusting.”

The latest revelations look sure to arouse further suspicious about Taylor’s death, with the plea deal looking like another attempt by authorities to evade accountability for her demise.
