Rapper Meek Mill has split from girlfriend, Milan Rouge Harris, only days after Kanye West accused him of having a fling with his wife, Kim Kardashian.
Meek Mill and Harris welcomed their newborn only last month, at a time when there was no indication of acrimony between the two.
However, the rapper confirmed on social media that the two would be going their separate ways, with every intention of keeping relations cordial in future as they raised their child.
“We [sic] me and Milano decided to remain friends and build our child as separate parents…
“We still have mad love for each other but we both came to a understanding! -meek-,” he wrote on Twitter.
Meek reposted the tweet on instagram and added:
“@iammilanrouge no fall out either just moving forward! Still love! This for protection so social media wont think we moving wrong..”
On Sunday night, Milan posted an Instagram update that said, “I’d never address my private life, publicly,” along with a message to demand justice for Breonna Taylor.
She is the designer behind streetwear label Milano di Rouge and was romantically linked to Meek for about a year before they announced they were expecting a baby together in February.
