Rapper DaBaby sued for $30,000 in damages by woman he allegedly slapped at nightclub

A female fan who says she was slapped by rapper DaBaby inside a nightclub in Florida on Saturday has now filed a lawsuit for $30,000 in damages.

Tyronesha Laws says she waiting for the show to start with other concertgoers when “suddenly and without any warning” the rapper violently struck her in the face.

In the video seen by Daily Mast, Dababy reacted angrily after the female held her mobile phone with the flash on – close to the rapper’s face, as he walked through the crowd.

He is seen in the footage hitting the lady in the face before walking away. The crowd reacted angrily and boed the rapper who apparently left the venue without performing.

Laws insists she did not bother the rapper who smacked her in the face which caused her “injuries about her face and head” along with “extreme mental and emotional distress.”

Her lawyers Matt Morgan and Chelsea Cromer, released a statement saying;

“Morgan & Morgan has filed a formal lawsuit against DaBaby relating to the incident in Tampa. The incident was outrageous and shocking.

“We have requested a jury trial and look forward to presenting all of the surrounding circumstances to a jury of our client’s peers.

“Our goal is to deter similar conduct in the future and send a message that this type of behavior is not tolerated in America.”

Although DaBaby issued an apology to her claiming; “Keep in mind, I couldn’t see you because you had the flash this close to me … it’s no problem,” Laws blasted it as insincere.
