Convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein is getting special treatment at the notorious Rikers Island prison with reports claiming he has the whole 6th floor to himself, has 24 hour security watching him and 24/7 medical care.
A report by celebrity news website TMZ claims Senior Dept. of Corrections sources have confirmed that the disgraced movie mogul is being kept in isolation “on the 6th floor of the main building of the North Infirmary Command” while he awaits his sentencing.
“We’re told the floor has 30 beds in a dorm-like setting, but right now, Weinstein has the whole floor to himself … which keeps him safe from other inmates,” TMZ reported.
Daily Mast understands the North Infirmary Command at Rikers is for high profile inmates and inmates with health issues.

Rikers Island is a 413.17-acre island in the East River between Queens and the Bronx that is home to New York City’s main jail complex.
Nicknamed Gladiator School, Torture Island and the Guantรกnamo of New York – Rikers has long been plagued by gang violence and allegations of corruption and human rights violations.
Last month Weinstein was found guilty of two counts in his sexual assault trial, more than two years after the first allegations against him emerged.

The jury convicted him of felony sex crime and rape, but acquitted him of the most serious charges against him, predatory sexual assault.
He was found guilty of raping actress Jessica Mann in 2013 and forcibly performing oral sex on production assistant Mimi Haleyi in 2006.
