50 Cent has made it clear that he has no interest in reconciling with Sean “Diddy” Combs, delivering a blunt response when asked whether their long-running feud could ever end.

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, addressed their relationship during an appearance on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle on Friday, 9 October.

Although he was appearing on the programme to promote the forthcoming Street Fighter film, the conversation turned to his decades-long rivalry with Diddy.

When asked whether he could ever make peace with the imprisoned music mogul, 50 Cent replied: “No, not with him.”

The presenters noted that he had previously ended disputes with other public figures, including former rapper and Belizean politician Shyne. However, 50 Cent suggested that his disagreement with Diddy was different.

50 Cent reacts to prison tablet report

During the interview, 50 Cent also responded to reports that Diddy had watched Sean Combs: The Reckoning while serving his prison sentence.

The Netflix documentary series, which was executive produced by 50 Cent and directed by Alexandria Stapleton, examines Diddy’s career, controversies and federal criminal case.

NBC News previously reported that Diddy allegedly had access to a jailbroken tablet at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey. Former inmates claimed he used the device to watch films and documentaries, including The Reckoning.

The allegations concerning the tablet have not been independently confirmed by federal prison officials.

“I didn’t expect him to have a jailbroken tablet that was contraband in the actual facility, but he got a chance to see it,” 50 Cent said.

He added: “I felt like it was the best documentary that went out on him. It was fair.”

Diddy criticised the documentary

Diddy’s representatives previously described Sean Combs: The Reckoning as a “shameful hit piece” and disputed how some of its previously unseen footage had been obtained.

Netflix and the filmmakers maintained that the material was acquired legally and that they had the necessary rights to use it.

The four-part series includes footage recorded before Diddy’s September 2024 arrest, as well as interviews examining his career and allegations made against him.

Diddy was convicted in 2025 on two federal counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious racketeering conspiracy and sex-trafficking charges and later sentenced to 50 months in prison.

Feud unlikely to end

Tension between 50 Cent and Diddy has existed for more than two decades, with the two exchanging public criticism through interviews, music and social media.

The release of The Reckoning intensified the dispute, particularly after Diddy’s representatives condemned the series.

While 50 Cent has repaired some of his previous relationships, his latest remarks suggest that Diddy will not be added to that list.
