Rapper Latto has sparked speculation that she and fellow hip-hop star 21 Savage may have welcomed their first child together after posting a deeply personal pregnancy video on Instagram.
The emotional clip, uploaded on May 18, chronicles Latto’s journey from discovering she was pregnant to what appeared to be audio captured during childbirth. While neither artist has publicly confirmed the birth of a baby, the ending of the video strongly suggested the arrival could already have taken place.
Born Alyssa Michelle Stephens, the Atlanta rapper begins the montage by sharing footage of herself revealing the pregnancy to friends while in Tokyo, just five weeks after learning the news.
The video then moves through various stages of her pregnancy, blending present-day moments with childhood memories, including a clip of Latto at three years old.

Fans were also given glimpses into her medical appointments and milestones throughout the pregnancy. One scene shows the rapper attending a 13-week ultrasound scan, while another captures her proudly showing off her baby bump at 19 weeks during calls with loved ones.
The video also included scenes from her baby shower attended by celebrity friends such as Usher and Angel Reese, who participated in a gender reveal-style guessing game.
At one point during the celebration, a friend praised the rapper’s work ethic, noting that she completed an entire album while pregnant. Latto’s forthcoming album, Big Mama, is scheduled for release on May 29.
The artist reflected on how the pregnancy unexpectedly shaped the project, explaining that the album title had already been on her mind before she discovered she was expecting.
“I was already thinking about naming my album Big Mama, and then I found out about you, and… everything fell into place,” she said in the video.
Latto also spoke candidly about the physical and emotional demands of recording music while pregnant, admitting she initially worried the experience would slow her down as she dealt with exhaustion and changes to her body.

Despite that, the footage showed the rapper continuing to record music, dance, work out and spend time in destinations including Antigua and Barbuda and Jamaica throughout the pregnancy.
Toward the end of the clip, Latto filmed herself in a mirror while 37 weeks pregnant, telling viewers she was “basically full term” and eager to meet her baby.
The final moments featured what sounded like real-time audio from a delivery room, with voices encouraging her to push as medical equipment beeped in the background.
Although social media users quickly interpreted the video as confirmation that the baby had arrived, neither Latto nor 21 Savage has formally announced the birth.
The rapper first revealed she was expecting in March when she unveiled the cover art for Big Mama. The image showed her posing with a tiger cub while displaying her 29-week baby bump.
