Justin Baldoni pushes to expose Blake Lively’s finances ahead of high-stakes trial

Actor argues Lively’s income and alleged losses are key evidence as case heads toward trial

Justin Baldoni is seeking to bring Blake Lively’s finances into the spotlight as their ongoing legal dispute moves closer to trial.

In newly filed court documents, Baldoni argues that Lively’s net worth and income should be presented as evidence, particularly after she alleged significant financial losses linked to the case.

According to reports, Lively previously claimed she lost as much as $161 million due to an alleged smear campaign, a claim Baldoni says makes her financial standing directly relevant to the proceedings.

Baldoni is also asking the court to consider the income of Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, arguing that their careers and financial decisions are closely connected.

Court filings suggest Baldoni believes Lively’s professional choices are often influenced by Reynolds’ schedule and earning power.

In a separate argument, Baldoni is seeking to include references to a character from the film Deadpool & Wolverine, claiming it portrays and mocks him, contributing to public perception and reputational damage.

The legal battle has already seen key developments. A judge recently dismissed several of Lively’s claims, including defamation and harassment allegations, while allowing others, such as retaliation claims, to proceed.

The ruling narrows the scope of the case but keeps it on track for trial, which is scheduled to begin in May.

Lively’s legal team has argued that the dismissed claims were rejected on technical grounds rather than merit, maintaining that the core issues remain valid.

The actress has also publicly addressed the case, stating that she is prepared to present her side fully in court.

Efforts to settle the dispute out of court have so far failed, with both parties now preparing for a high-profile legal showdown.
