Eminem to play White Boy Rick in 50 Cent-produced Starz series ‘Black Mafia Family’

Rapper Eminem has joined 50 Cent’s upcoming Starz drama ‘BMF’ (Black Mafia Family).

The star will play the role of FBI informant Rick Wershe known as White Boy Rick- in the starz series BMF which is based on a real life story of two brothers Demetrius ‘Big Meech’ Flenory and Terry Southwest T Flenory.

Eminem’s involvement in the movie was revealed by 50 Cent in a statement saying he was ‘honoured and appreciated’ having Em in his team.

“I’m honoured and appreciative of my good friend Em for supporting my new show ‘BMF’

“We couldn’t do a show based in Detroit without incorporating the legend that is Eminem.”

The show is a major milestone for Slim Shady who hasn’t acted major roles since his big screen debut in the ‘8 Mile’ movie of 2002.

The movie which is based on a true story traces one of the most powerful and influential criminal empires from 1980s Detroit.

In the movie Shady starts off as a teenager and later gets arrested for dealing with drugs only to be released decades later in 2020.

“I directed BMF Episode 7 it is amazing. I used the same dr aging special effects they used in The Irishman. To take @eminem back to his teenage years. Green light Gang,” tweeted Fiddy as he explained how Eminem will be de-aged for the role.
