It was a great night for Taylor Swift as she walked away with three gongs including the prestigious Artiste of the Year award on Sunday night at the American Music Awards held in Los Angeles.
Although Swift was not present to accept the accolades, she thanked her fans in a video that was played at the awards show.
Another big winner was Canadian singer The Weekend, who walked away with best soul/ R&B male artiste as well as his album ‘After Hours’ and song ‘Heartless’.
The awards ceremony was headlined with glitz and glamour as masked dancers and stripped down performances were the order of the night.
