Social media trolls were on Stevie J’s case over the weekend, with a video of a workout used as evidence that his wife, Faith Evans, had given him a black eye after a violent assault.
While the images from a post workout video were not clear, a few blurry snaps were all Twitter users needed to conclude that Stevie J indeed had a black eye.
Faith Evans was arrested after allegedly attacking her husband Stevie J last week.
According to TMZ, the I’ll Be Missing You singer was reportedly apprehended by police after they received a call to their home in Los Angeles.
This was after an argument between the couple had turned violent, with police noticing a few scratches on Stevie J which came from a violent confrontation.
While he did not address the rumors, Stevie J posted a feel good video about making relationships work on his Instagram page during the week.
“It’s a beautiful morning. If you woke up next to your significant other, give them a kiss and tell them you love them every morning,” Stevie J said in the video.
“Make love every morning. Have fun every morning. Put a smile on your face every morning. If you don’t have smiles all day, if you’re not happy and it’s all negative, then it ain’t gon’ work. Positivity is everything. Love is everything. Follow the light, man.”
