When Juice Wrld suffered a fatal seizure at Chicago’s Midway Airport on December 8, 2019, he apparently left behind a sizable fortune.
According to TMZ, the 21-year-old rapper was worth nearly $3.3 million at the time of his death.
The late rapper’s estate is worth $3,278,867.49. This includes a condo in Miami worth around $1,490,000 and several bank accounts … including one with $1,001,515.68.
According to the legal documents his watches and jewelry alone are worth $459,318.75.
TMZ also notes that it’s possible the rapper is worth more because “there could be assets in trusts outside of the probate estate.”
His mother Carmela Wallace, has now filed documents asking to be appointed the estate’s representative.
Juice WRLD, whose real name is Jarad Higgins, was administered an opioid antidote shortly before his death as Chicago police prepared to search his private plane for drugs and guns.
According to an autopsy by Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, Juice WRLD died from an accidental overdose of oxycodone and codeine.
The rapper from Chicago rose to fame on the streaming platform SoundCloud. His biggest hit, “Lucid Dreams,” went to No. 1 on Apple Music after news of his death broke.
