The Papoose Remy Ma divorce dispute has intensified after the rapper published alleged messages with his lawyer concerning property, visitation and the finalisation of their marriage.
Papoose claimed he initially offered to let Remy Ma keep all three properties they share because he wanted the divorce concluded and the former couple to move forward separately.
Papoose Remy Ma divorce offer withdrawn
In one of the messages posted online, Papoose allegedly told his lawyer that Remy could retain the properties while he sought visitation and the completion of the divorce proceedings.
“I’ve decided to let her keep all of the properties,” the message read in part. “I just want her out of my life. And divorce finalised.”
Papoose claimed the proposal was communicated to Remy and her legal representatives in January 2026 but did not receive an immediate response.
He said a reply eventually arrived on February 14, by which time he had withdrawn the offer.
“The previous deal is now off the table,” he wrote in a subsequent message. “I’m gonna maintain my half in all properties.”
Papoose also said he would seek payment for music he claims to have written for Remy. The screenshots do not establish whether a formal property settlement was submitted to or approved by the court.
Rapper says he wants marriage brought to an end
Explaining why he made the private messages public, Papoose accused Remy of allowing misleading accounts of their separation to circulate.
He also urged her supporters to continue backing her while helping her move beyond their relationship.
Papoose claimed Remy had failed to attend an in-person court appearance. He further alleged that she had attempted to reconcile with him several times after he moved on, but that he rejected those approaches.
These remain Papoose’s claims, and Remy had not issued a verified public response to his latest statements at the time of publication.
The former couple have repeatedly traded accusations about the breakdown of their marriage. Neither party’s allegations about the other should be treated as established fact unless addressed through court proceedings or supported by independent evidence.
Remy previously urged Papoose to sign divorce papers
The latest posts follow Remy’s recent public calls for Papoose to sign their divorce papers.
During an online dispute involving boxing champion Claressa Shields, who is in a relationship with Papoose, Remy suggested that she also wanted the marriage formally dissolved.
Papoose reportedly filed for divorce in May 2025 after the couple’s relationship deteriorated publicly. Their legal separation has since become entangled with arguments over property, music and competing accounts of who is delaying the proceedings.
Papoose and Remy married while she was incarcerated in 2008 and held a formal wedding ceremony in 2016. They share a daughter, born in 2018.
Once celebrated for their loyalty to each other, the rappers have spent nearly two years airing parts of their marital dispute publicly.
It remains unclear when their divorce will be finalised or how the court will divide the properties and any other disputed assets.
The property offer and alleged lawyer messages were posted by Papoose and reported by several entertainment publications. No verified response from Remy Ma to that specific post was found at publication time.
Recent reports confirm that Remy had publicly called on Papoose to sign the divorce papers, while earlier reporting documents the couple’s separation and their competing accusations.
