R&B superstar Trey Songz, whose real name is Tremaine Aldon Neverson, is being investigated by Las Vegas police in connection with a sexual assault allegation.

Law enforcement authorities in Las Vegas revealed that they are probing a claim made on Sunday about an alleged incident at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and the musician is actually ‘co- operating’ with the investigation.

A spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said they received, ‘a report of a sexual assault incident alleged to have occured at a hotel in the 3700 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard.

He added, “Neverson is cooperating with investigation. At this time, no arrests have been made.”

TMZ reports that the ‘Smartphones’ singer brought a group of women to a hotel he had lodged on Saturday night while celebrating his 37th birthday at Drai’s Nightclub.

This is not the first time the singer is involved in a sexual misconduct case.

Last year a woman named Aluza alleged that he took away her phone and purse and wouldn’t let her leave the hotel room. She said, “I kept asking, like, ‘when can I leave, wouldn’t answer, he would just f****n ignore me.”

The woman also claimed that during the otherwise consensual encounter, Trey urinated on her without consent and she ‘didn’t know what was happening, he just did it.”

Trey denied the allegations.

In 2017 actress Keke Palmer accused Trey of “sexual intimidation” after stating she was included in his music video “Pick Up The Phone” without her consent.

“Babygirl buggin,” Neverson said in a tweet in 2017. “ Point blank period. Got my number, coulda called, saw the cameras and the lights, heard action.”
