Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer are rumored to be dating in real life after realizing they fancied each other during the reunion show.
This comes after the two actors confessed their secret feelings for each other during the highly anticipated Friends: The Reunion special, which aired in May 2021.
The popular pairing, who won the world’s hearts as on/off couple Rachel Green and Ross Geller in the hit 90s sitcom, are said to have made fiction a reality.
“We were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing. One of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary,” said Schwimmer.
On the hit series, the two characters first met when Rachel became friends with Ross’ sister, Monica, at the same school they attended.
Although nothing ever happened between the two characters in their teenage years, Ross reveals later in the show that he has had feelings for Rachel since the ninth grade.
Sources have revealed that the new ‘couple’ has been spending too much time together after the reunion.
A source told Closer magazine: “After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there.
“They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA.”
