Simon Cowell is set to make his first appearance on TV since he was involved in a bike accident. The X Factor judge broke his back after falling off his bike at the beginning of August.
He underwent surgery and is reportedly set to return to screens next month in his first public TV appearance since his horrific injury.
The TV mogul, 61, will virtually appear at the Fayre of St James’s 2020 Christmas Concert on 1 December, according to an event description.
Along with Simon, other well-known names taking part include Stephen Fry, Jack Whitehall, James May, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Rupert Everett.
Simon was forced to step down as the head judge of Britain’s Got Talent after his accident.
The TV star has been resting at home in Malibu since his accident and has been receiving round-the-clock care.
He was replaced on the live shows by Diversity star Ashley Banjo, 32, while Amanda Holden, 49, was promoted to head judge.
Various guest stars also filled in for him on America’s Got Talent, including singer Kelly Clarkson, 38. Luckily, the dad-of-one is slowly recovering and has been spotted on several occasions out and about with his partner Lauren Silverman and son Eric.
Simon’s return to TV will come before he is reportedly set to return as a panelist on Britain’s Got Talent in the new year. The British talent show is set to host a fun-filled Christmas special this year, but Simon will reportedly not return in time for the festive spectacular.
